Overview
This website is a static site. It uses no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts and embeds no third-party content — no video platforms, no map services, no social media widgets. There is no user account, no login and no contact form.
In short: visiting this website does not build a profile of you.
Data that arises when you visit
When you open a page, your browser sends technical information to the server delivering it — your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page and your browser and operating system version. Without this, a page cannot technically be delivered.
The web server of this website keeps no access logs. It is not recorded who called up which page and when. Only technical errors are logged; those entries contain no visitor data.
A reverse proxy sits in front of the website and establishes the encrypted connection. For operational and security reasons it may keep short-lived logs. These are rotated automatically and are not analysed, not combined with other data sources and not used to identify you personally.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Art. 31 para. 1 DSG; where the GDPR applies, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Hosting
This website runs on our own server infrastructure. No content delivery network, no external website builder and no third-party hosting is involved in delivering these pages.
Enquiries and bookings by e-mail
If you send us an enquiry by e-mail or by phone, the data you provide — name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message — is stored in order to handle your enquiry.
If a booking results from it, we additionally process the details needed to carry it out: riding experience, fitness to take part, details of your motorcycle and, for tours, your travel dates. For transporting the motorcycle and for renting vehicles or protective equipment, we pass the necessary details on to the partner concerned — without doing so the service could not be provided.
The legal basis is the performance of the contract with you. The data is deleted once the enquiry or the event is complete and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.
Pictures taken at events
Under our terms and conditions, participants agree that photographic documentation may be used for advertising purposes. If you would rather not, tell us on site — you will then not appear in any picture we publish.
External links
This website links to external sites, among them social media profiles and the websites of our partners. Once you follow such a link, this privacy policy no longer applies. Please refer to the privacy policy of the site in question.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you and to have incorrect data corrected or deleted. Where the GDPR applies, you additionally have the right to restriction of processing, to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
For this, please use the contact details given in the imprint.
Changes
We adapt this privacy policy when the website changes. The current version applies.
